Wednesday: Top 20 Invitational Tournament

The evening began with each dog parading around the ring in the spotlight, introduced by our very own Dale.
At left is Ch. Robobull Fabelhaft Inferno, aka "Dante", last year's winner, who chose to sit out of this year's competition.

Three judges went over each of the dogs.

At right: Ch. Celesial Wherefore Art Thou, aka "Larry", the winner of the Top 20 Invitational.

Thursday and Friday:
French Bulldog Club of America National Specialty Show

Fitting over 80 specials in one small ring is an interesting challenge.

Our champion Maxx Smaxx stacks.
(The spectators are a little weary after a busy week!)

More shots of Maxx and Dale.

And the winner of the FBDCA 2005 National Specialty Show is Champion Shann's Pudgybull Houdini...
(Note: these two pictures were taken at the Top 20 competition.)

..., owned and handled by a surprised and very happy Jeff Schulze and Jeff Armstrong.

Maxx and Phoenix, soon to be Best Brace in Specialty Show.

After a week at the shows, we headed down to Yosemite National Park for a few days of rest and relaxation.
